GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: Thursday's roundup

#ctvb -- Another light day for #ctvb on Thursday. However, Megan Gavin had a strong day and so did Allison Carey. Check out the roundup below.
Coginchaug 3, North Branford 2: Hayley Brant had eight kills, five digs and four blocks and Sydney Trusty had seven aces, four kills and three digs in a Shoreline Conference win at Coginchaug (1-1).
Kayla Nowak had seven aces, four blocks and three kills for North Branford (0-2). Tori Ramada had five assists and Julia Reis had six digs for the Thunderbirds.
Lauralton Hall 3, Bunnell 1: Allison Carey’s 21 assists and eight service points along with Liz Levine’s 15 digs and seven service points led the Crusaders over the Bulldogs in Milford, Thursday.
Taylor Whittaker had 12 service points, 10 kills, five aces and three digs for Lauralton Hall. For Bunnell, Jessica Bogdwicz had 12 assists, eight service points, and three aces. Erica Shannon added seven service points, seven kills, three aces and two blocks and Kyla Pataki had 14 digs, 13 service points and four aces for the Bulldogs.
Sheehan 3, North Haven 2: Nikki Petit had 12 kills, 10 digs and eight aces and Ali Sperrazza had 11 digs and 11 kills as the Titans (1-1) picked up their first win of the season.
Makayla Ricci had eight aces and seven kills, Megan Gavin had 30 assists and Katie Read finished with 21 digs in the win over North Haven (0-1) in Wallingford.
