In a battle of two Milford schools Law beat Foran 6-5. Brett Michael Doran went 4-for-4 with four RBIs for Law. The Lawmen have done everything but lock up the SCC Hammonasset Division. Hamden edged Xavier 3-2 as the Green Dragons picked up their first win in SCC Quinnipiac Division play and, surprisingly, it took Notre Dame-West Haven nine innings to knock off Fairfield Prep 6-2. Seymour is clearly the most dominant team in the Naugatuck Valley League, crushing Holy Cross, perhaps the second-best team in the league, 10-0.
