New Addition to Softball Poll
Hand jumped into the Register Top 10 Softball Poll this week despite going 1-1 last week. Hand lost to Mercy 4-2 but then defeated Cheshire 7-6.
Here's a sneak peak at the poll:

8. Cheshire
7. Mercy
6. St. Joseph
See the complete poll in Monday's Register. Also included in the softball package, is a look at Derby, which has its sights on an SCC Oronoque Division title, and a piece on Foran, which is 6-5 under first-year coach Jeff Bevino.
