Hotchkiss player named Gatorade boys soccer recipient


Isaac Normesinu of the Hotchkiss prep school is the 2012 Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year. 

 A 5-foot-8 senior, Normesinu scored 16 goals and added five assists in leading the Bearcats to the New England Prep School Athletic Council Class A tournament quarterfinals. He was named the 2012 Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association Prep School Player of the Year and an All-American selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. 

 He will play at Boston College next season.
