Because of the number of school cancellations caused by the Feb. 8-9 snowstorm, the Connecticut Sports Writers’ Alliance has extended the application deadline for high school seniors seeking the Bohdan Kolinsky Memorial Journalism Scholarship to Feb. 21. Each submission, including application form, student biography, academic transcript, writing samples and letter of recommendation, should reach the Alliance at P.O. Box 70, Unionville, CT 06085, by 11 a.m. on that date.
