Lyman Hall, Hand, Stratford move on
Lyman Hall still has a chance to return to the Class L state championship game for the second straight year in boys' basketball.
The Trojans handcuffed Career 42-30 in the second round at home Thursday night. The Trojans, will face Hand, an upset winner at New London, in Monday's quarterfinals.
Stratford, the No. 2 seed, beat Harding 50-40 and will face Torrington in the semifinals on Monday as well.
