Shannon Bissell had 10 service points, eight assist and four aces, Lexi Iannone had 11 kills, four aces and four blocks and Erin Kent added three kills and two blocks as Sacred Heart Academy rallied from a two-set deficit to defeat Foran 3-2 in Hamden.
Rebekah DeRosa had 25 assists and seven aces and Danielle Kemp had 11 digs for the Lions (0-2) in a loss to SHA (3-0).
Branford 3, Amity 2: Anna Atkinson had 12 kills and three blocks to lead the Branford volleyball team to a 3-2 (18-25, 17-25, 25-17, 25-23, 15-7) victory over host Amity at Woodbridge.
Hannah Zampano had 14 kills and Lauren Kuhn had 19 assists and three aces for the Hornets (2-1).
Kristin Post had seven kills and Allison Denny had nine kills and five blocks for the Spartans (3-1).
Guilford 3, West Haven 0: Caitlin Soblewski had eight kills and five aces, Taylor White had 13 assists and five digs and Sam Grinold added 12 service points and seven aces as the Indians defeated the Blue Devils in West Haven.
Waverly Rose Brim had four kills, three digs and five blocks, Kara Patterson had two aces, two kills, four digs and a block and Yenny Bayas had seven digs for West Haven (1-2) in a loss to Guilford (2-2). 
Mercy 3, Law 1: Hanna Jones was 17-for-17 serving with 16 digs, Nina Zimmitti had 19 digs and three aces and Meghan Nelson added 19 kills and seven aces for the Tigers in a win over the Eagles.
Law’s (0-3) Sarah Gambardella had six digs, Collleen Bogucki had 14 digs and 13 assists and Jess Ruiz had nine kills and five digs in the loss to Mercy (3-0).
Morgan 3, North Branford 0: Jen Dawson had 10 kills, Kat Wilkinson had nine points and six aces and Lily Dawson added 24 assists as the Huskies defeated the Thunderbirds in North Branford.
For North Branford (0-3), Kayla Nowak had two blocks, an assist, a kill and two aces. Deanna Gallo had two aces and a kill, Brianna Saroka had two kills and Julia Reis added four digs in the loss to Morgan (3-0).
Newtown 3, Lauralton Hall 1: Liz Levine had 11 digs and eight service points, Taylor Whittaker had seven kills and five digs and Allison Carey added 15 assists in a losing effort for the Crusaders in Newtown.
O’Brien Tech 3, Whitney Tech 0: Nicole Belade had nine aces and three digs and Adrianna Crisanti had five kills and four aces as the Condors defeated the Owls in Hamden.
Angel Cassin-Brown had four kills and two aces for Whitney Tech (1-3). O’Brien Tech improved to 1-3.
