GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL: Friday's roundup

 #ctvb: Lots of sweeps on Friday. Check out the roundup below.
Bunnell 3. Stratford 0: Jessica Bogdwicz finished with 26 assists and 21 points, Taylor Jean-Guillaume had six kills and nine service points and Kyla Pataki added four service points and 15 digs as the Bulldogs defeated the rival Red Devils at Bunnell High School.
For Stratford (2-3, 0-2 SWC) Haley Dunning had 11 points, Emily Eckel had 11 points and a kill and Gave Rooney added nine assists in the loss to Bunnell (2-2, 2-0).
Cheshire 3, Sheehan 0: Sarah Rodgers had 32 assists, Amanda Palladino had 13 kills and five blocks and Becca Ligi had 10 kills and four digs as the Rams remained perfect with a victory over the Titans in Cheshire.
For Sheehan (3-2, 0-1 Southern Connecticut Conference Housatonic) Nicki Petit had six kills, 10 digs and two aces, Makayla Ricci had six kills, four digs and four aces and Meghan Gavin had 17 assists in the loss to Cheshire (5-0, 1-0)
Foran 3, Guilford  0:  Rebekah DeRosa had  30 assists and four aces, Fallon Bevino had 19 kills, seven aces and 10 digs and Jess Harkness added nine digs as the Lions defeated the Indians in Milford.
Guilford’s (2-3) Caitlin Sobolewski had nine kills and nine digs. Taylor White had 13 assists and seven digs and Kristen Urban had 12 service points and four aces in the loss to Foran (2-2).
Lyman Hall 3, Hamden 0: Melanie Schanke had 12 kills, six aces and four digs and Ally Hackett had 22 assists and added two aces as the Trojans swept the Green Dragons in Hamden.
Lauralton Hall 3, Oxford 1: Haley Congdon had nine service points  four aces  kills and five digs 5, Alexandra Moleski had three service points, two aces eight kills, and three blocks 3 and Ann Marie Guzzi had 20 service points, nine aces, three kills, five digs and a blocks as the Crusaders defeated the Wolverines in Oxford.
Liz Levine had a kill and 11 digs and Allison Carey had 33 assists, a kill and a block.
O’Brien Tech 3, Amistad 0: Alexa Mollica had six aces and Adriana Crisanti added five aces, two kills and a dig as the Condors defeated Amistad in Ansonia.
Old Lyme 3, North Branford 1: Amanda Burke  had 11 kills and Paige Palenski had 26 assists as Wildcats sent the Thunderbirds to their fourth straight loss.
For North Branford (0-4), Kayla Nowak had three blocks and three kills, Deanna Gallo had three kills, Julia Reis had 14 digs and Tori Ramada had six assists and two aces in the loss to Old Lyme (2-2).
