Amity's Ryan Laemel, Michael Bhatt, Adam Trofa and John Cocco combined to win the 4 x 1-mile relay at the National Scholastic Indoor Track Championship at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the armory in New York.
The Spartans finished with a school record time of 17 minutes, 48.99 seconds.

Amity senior Allison Barwise took fourth place in the pentathlon with 3,234 points at the the same event. The fourth place earned her All-American status (top six finishers named All-Americans).
