Dates, times for SCC-FCIAC Challenge

Dates and times have been announced for the 2013 football games between the Southern Connecticut Conference and the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference, the first of a two-year agreement called the SCC-FCIAC Challenge.

Seventeen games will be played during the opening week next September. SCC commissioner Al Carbone said the games will be spread out over four days, mainly due to the Yom Kippur holiday that falls on Sept. 13, 2013.
