FOOTBALL: Minus McCarthy, Philips (6 TDs) leads West Haven to emotional win over Sheehan

Sophomore Ervin Philips ran for 298 yards and scored six touchdowns to lead West Haven to an emotional 53-23 win over Sheehan. The Westies played the game without head coach Ed McCarthy, who was recently in the hospital for a minor procedure.
