Boys' hockey: New Canaan top player out for season
According to a report in the New Canaan Advertiser, the New Canaan boys' hockey team will be without one of its top forwards and captain Henry Corcoran for the rest of the season due to a shoulder injury (blood clot).
The Rams have been skating four lines all year and have a strong on-ice defense to go along with goalie Tim Nowacki. They may not miss a beat without Corcoran and will likely use the loss as motivation to win a title for their injured comrade.
The Rams were without Corcoran against Darien on Wednesday and New Canaan won 3-1.
Hopefully Corcoran will be okay.
