Hillhouse picks up first-place votes
Trinity Catholic barely survived against Ridgefield, courtesy of a technical foul called with 1.8 seconds left, to win 49-48 after guard Eric-Jean Guillaume made the two technical free throws last Tuesday.
But Trinity lost some first-place votes to undefeated Hillhouse this week. See how many in tomorrow's New Haven Register. Also, check out the coverage of the second Hillhouse-Wilbur Cross game, which is being played today at 4 p.m., followed by the girls game between the two schools at 6.
In between the games is a Ring of Ceremony where any former state championship winner from eith school, boy or girl, will be honored if present for the ceremony.
