Belade Earns 100th Victory

O’Brien Tech girls’ basketball coach Mark Belade earned his 100th career victory tonight as the Condors beat Whitney Tech by forfeit.
With the win, O’Brien Tech (8-6) earned a state tournament berth. It’s Belade sixth trip to the Class S state tournament in his eight years at O’ Brien Tech. He became the first girls’ basketball coach in school history to reach the milestone. He is also the only basketball coach — girls or boys — to win a Constitution State Conference title.
