Mount Vernon coming to Hillhouse
Mount Vernon, perenially one of the best programs in New York, has agreed to play a home-and-home basketball series with Hillhouse, according to head coach Kermit Carolina.
Mount Vernon is scheduled to play Hillhouse at the New Haven Athletic Center on Jan. 27. The Academics will play at Mount Vernon in the 2010-11 school year.
Hillhouse's other non-league game will be against East Hartford on Jan. 18. It is part of a three-game Connecticut Hoops Challenge that is scheduled to include: Wilbur Cross vs. New Britain and East Catholic vs. NorthwestCatholic.
