Coginchaug softball postponed
The Class S state softball semifinal between Windsor Locks and Coginchaug, scheduled for today at 4 p.m. in West Haven, has been postponed.
The game has been re-scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Plainville.
Late this morning, Windsor Locks coach Mike Morhardt was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, according to Coginchaug athletic director Ted Lombardo. The CIAC made the decision to postpone to Wednesday, since the forecast calls for rain on Tuesday.
