Bulkeley prevails in Class L
Brandon Jones' layup was the winning basket for No. 25 seed Bulkeley at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
DeShawn Hamlet finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs (16-10), the only team to beat both Trinity Catholic and Windsor this season.
Torrington center Jordan Williams finished a great career with 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine blocked shots. Not only did he become the NVL's all-time leading scorer, he also finished this season with 998 points.
