Ryan Testani, others to sign Division I NLITs on Monday

Shelton’s Ryan Testani will sign a national letter of intent on Monday to play baseball at Seton Hall next year.

Testani, who will be a captain this upcoming season, helped lead the Gaels to the Class LL state championship for the first time in 36 years, He went 9-3 on the mound with a 1.31 ERA and 64 strikeouts. Testani was named to the Register’s All-Area team last season.

At least two other area athletes will be signing on Monday: Olivia Levey of Lauralton Hall to play basketball at St. Francis and Riley Smith of Guilford to play field hockey at Fairfield.


Any area athlete signing a national letter of intent DURING THE FALL SIGNING PERIOD ONLY to play in college should email high school sports editor Joe Morelli at jmorelli@nhregister.com. The email should include the student-athlete’s name, school, sport, college attending.
