Three Local Players Headed to Play Baseball at Bryant
Sheehan's Ryan Moore, Guilford's Craig Schlitter and Shelton's Dan St. George have all signed national letters of intent to play baseball at Bryant University in 2011.
Moore, a right-handed pitcher went 7-4 with a 1.50 ERA and 66 strikeouts for the Titans last season. Schlitter, another right-handed pitcher, went 4-2 with 42 strikeouts as a junior. St. George, a utility player and pitcher, was an All-SCC selection for the Gaels last season.
Norwalk pitcher Jon Cohen will also join the Bulldogs.
