CIAC Bowling Championships Saturday
The second CIAC Bowling Championship at AMF Circle Lanes in East Haven on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m..
Thirty teams will be participating in the event with combined boys and girls teams competing for the championship. The teams with a maximum of 10 competitors will face off in a 10-game Baker format in which each bowler participates in two frames to accumulate a team score. Teams will be made up of all boys, all girls, or a combination, and liberal substitution rules will be allowed during the competition.
Admission to the event is free The first Bowling Championship was held last year at Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks with Windsor Locks earning the title over Enfield. Nearly 140 students took part in that event.
