Rivalry Wednesday

The first installment of the Southern Connecticut Conference's biggest soccer rivalry, Hand vs. Guilford, is Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m.

The girls open at 5 p.m. Hand comes off a 1-0 home win over previously undefeated Cheshire Monday night. Hand is is still undefeated while Guilford's only loss came last Friday at Shelton.

The boys play at 7. Hand comes off a 1-0 loss at Notre Dame-West Haven. Guilford has yet to lose, but has been tied twice against Fairfield Prep and Foran, respectively.

The Shelton girls' soccer team is still undefeated and wants to win the SCC Housatonic Division title. To do that, the Gaelettes must win against Cheshire at home Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
