HK's Anderson makes oral commitment to play women's lacrosse at UConn
Haddam-Killingworth senior Emily Anderson has made an oral commitment to play women's lacrosse at the University of Connecticut.
The midfielder was a Register All-Area girls' lacrosse selection last season. She scored 68 goals and had a 70 percent shooting average. She also had 22 assists, 42 draw controls and 21 interceptions. She led HK to a 14-5 record and the CIAC Division II semifinals.
Her best game came in a 13-9 win over Pomperaug in the D-II quarterfinals where she had six goals and two assists.
Last season she was also an Under Armor New England All-Star
She also plays field hockey and basketball.
