Locals Sign With Southern Connecticut State

Hamden's Will Hindinger, Sheehan's T.K. Kiernan and Notre Dame-West Haven's T.J. Shea each signed to play baseball at Southern Connecticut State for the 2010-11 season.

Kyle Cummings, who now plays at UCONN-Avery Point and starred at Hamden, will also join the Owls.

Hinger, an outfielder, is a two-time SCC All-Quinnipiac Division selection. Kiernan, an infielder, holds a .325 career batting average. Shea, a catcher, will play for his father, Owls head coach Tim Shea.

RHAM pitcher Tyler Repoli and New London pitcher A.J. Turnier also signed to play at Southern.
