The Hartford Courant reported in Saturday's editions that East Catholic girls basketball coach Nick Economopoulos has resigned after 13 years at the school. He also coached previously at Lyman Hall in Wallingford.
Economopoulos, a Wallingford resident, has 586 career wins and helped lead East Catholic to Class M state championships in both 2002 and 2004.
