A pair of softball players who also had fine performances last week:
Kim Bogen, Seymour
Bogen struck out 18 against Watertown in a 2-1 win and struck out 11 and helped herlself with two hits in a 1-0 win over Naugatuck. Bogen tossed a two-hitter and got her 100th career hit against Torrington.
Andrea Tordonato, Hamden
Senior went 8-for-15 (.533) last week with seven RBIs, four runs and three extra base hits.
