The CIAC Division III final started at 10:05 a.m. but the game clock above the ice didn't start for 30 seconds. St. Joseph took three shots before the clock even started.
With 13:34 to go, the game stopped and the scoring table notified the officials of the mistake. The clock was then brought down to 13:07 to go, both coaches were informed of what happened and the game resumed.
